“Where Are They Now?” – Academy Grad Update
As part of this year’s 2012 North Texas Coalition of Uniformed Service Academies Holiday Ball, we are continuing an element of the 2011 Holiday Ball evening that we are calling, “Where Are They Now?” The purpose is to provide the current Cadets and Mids with a quick, visual update on what their now-graduated friends are doing out in the “real” military and civilian world. While being fun and informative for the Cadets and Mids, it will also expose their parents to some of the career choices that their sons and daughters might experience.
The format for this segment of the ball program will be very simple and no audio or verbal announcements will be made. The video program will run during the reception leading up to the actual beginning of the dinner program, and also while attendees are being seated.
Instead of the “formal” photo used for the Firstie Bios, we’d like the “Where Are They Now” photos to be more of an informal, candid shot that reflects in some way your son or daughter’s current assignment, (see example slide below).
